In-House Translator: French Canadian - Montreal

Description

• Translate documents of a pharmaceutical nature from English into French
• Proofread and edit, where necessary, documents translated into French
• Give final approval to any changes to translated documents after they have been proofread and edited
• Edit jobs by freelance translators
• Maintain databases and amend Trados translation memories
• Juggle overlapping projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with contract translators and proofreaders globally

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
• Ability to support multiple projects by keeping accurate and up-to-date project specs
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in English and French Canadian
• Exceptional problem solving skills
• Ensure customer sign-off of end product
• Demonstrate effective utilization of staff, effectively delegate responsibility
• Keep clients informed of project progress
• Prior translation industry experience is a plus
