Senior Translation Software Developer - New York

• Responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for enterprise translations, i.e. must enable cross-language capabilities for e-mail, instant messaging, intranets, and websites thereby facilitating collaboration and commerce
  • Design and develop a software foundation (using Java, C++, and C#) to achieve translations in a fully integrated environment that interfaces well with third party systems
  • Design ORM solutions to facilitate portability with client-end databases
  • Develop large software systems using Test-Driven Development
  • Develop robust and dynamic websites and Java web services
  • Develop and/or customize session management software to facilitate support services for end users
    
    
• Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • 5 years experience
  • Proficiency in programming languages (C++, C#, and Java) and software development environments (Spring, Junit)
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Language Translation systems
  • Knowledge of design, implementation and maintenance of websites and proficiency with web development software (Tapestry, Axis, JSP, Javascript)
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, specifically as applied to Natural Language Processing (machine learning, fuzzy logic)
