QA Engineer - San Jose

Translations.com is looking for a QA Engineer for our San Jose office.

• Description:
  • Develop JUnit tests
  • Devise test cases independently
  • Identify even obscure bugs in the current systems and programs
  • Work with Software Engineers to scope project requirements and prepare projects
  • Coordinate production input for analysis of project materials
  • Run QA processes
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Problem Solving and Trouble shooting as necessary
    
    
• Required Skills:
  • Minimum 1-2 years QA experience
  • Close attention to detail and ability to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Creative and proactive
  • Knowledge of and ability to create JUnit tests and test cases
  • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Strong Java programming skills with knowledge of some or all of: Java Swing, Eclipse, SWT, Struts, Spring MVC, AJAX and Hibernate
  • Knowledge of UNIX (Linux or Solaris), SQL Database and Windows a must
